Jose Mourinho to return as Chelsea Manager

Jose Mourinho has secured a four-year contract after agreeing to be Chealsea's Manager for the second time. Mourinho has insisted he will be a better and more mature manager following his first taste of management from 2004 - 2007, where his relationship with Abramovich seriously deteriorated.

After winning five major trophies when managing the club over 6 years ago, Mourinho is set to become the highest paid manager in the Premier League with a salary of £8.5m. Mourinho has expressed his hope of building a long term project at Chelsea and claims: "When you look at the profile of the Chelsea squad I think it's what they need at this time. It's very important for this club and very important for the balance of the squad, but it's a young squad with a lot of talent and I think they need stability to reach a high point of their evolution and for their careers."

Mourinho will be officially introduced as Chelsea's new manager next Monday after all formalities have been completed. Mourinho will bring two of his own backroom staff with him, fitness coach Rui Faria and goalkeeping coach Silvino Louro, both of which worked at Stamford Bridge during Mourinho's previous 3 year spell when Chelsea won two league titles, one FA Cup and two League Cups
